ESP is an MIT student group that provides unique educational opportunities to junior high and high school students: everything from multiweek courses ( HSSP) to a single day educational extravaganza ( SPLASH) and more! International Science Olympiads and qualifying competitionsĮvery year, secondary school students from around the world compete in international Olympiad competitions in math and science. MIT hosts several residential STEM summer programs, as well as the PRIMES program that (mostly) happens during the school year for students near Cambridge and across the country.įor those near campus, our students also offer MIT’s Educational Studies Program. Students will engage in various math puzzles and problems and math riddles. Great for gifted and talented students or those needing extra enrichment. The packets are generally appropriate for 4th grade and 5th-grade students depending on their ability and skill levels. Students must analyze, evaluate and problem-solve as they work.
